Richmond gas prices

According to gasbuddy.com, the cheapest gas in the city is $3.65 and can be found at the Costco on West Broad Street.

On the other hand, the most expensive gas was found at the Valero on Broad Rock Boulevard. For regular unleaded gas they are at $3.89 a gallon.

Our backstory

Today in class we were given an assignment to go out and report on gas prices in Richmond. We have about three hours to bring together various multimedia elements for our stories. Our group consists of three members, Sherron Simpson, Chamise Jones and Shoshannah Nunez.

Today Sherron and Chamise have taken to the streets to do the reporting while I [Shoshannah] and back in the newsroom keeping you up to date with the very latest.
A key part of reporting is researching your story before you go out. Here are some pictures of the group preparing to go report.
